The song is about the fact that many among us feel tired of life for so many reasons. The way out considered is Suicide. In the song I added a line: what does it take to get there, when there is no love there is no care….and I think that brings it to the point.
I can only tell my own story about it: far from home , in a City of strangers: for 3 years: Christmas came to me like a black deep hole, back then. I was tempted to leave this life: but understood: there is love, there is hope and there is a way out. Take good care. Please share your feelings about this topic, anytime.

FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE by roger specker
Desperate eyes, look from a bridge
She always loved that, son of bitch
He puts a gun, up to his head
Pulls the trigger, now he’s dead
Teenage girl lays on a rail
She’s best in school, (and ) scarred to fail
He’s out of a job n’ out of luck
Water deep n’ neck to a rock
Bridge:
What does it take to get there
When there is no love, there is no care
Suicide’s on someone’s mind
Through a cry for help it shined
For heaven’s sake ….don’t do that
For heaven’s sake….don’t do that
Doctor doctor, knows the answer
No, she doesn’t want to live with cancer
He’s playing around with Heroin
Knows ( it could ) be the last time for him
Bridge:
What does it take to get there
When there is no love, there is no care
Suicide’s on someone’s mind
Through a cry for help it shined
For heaven’s sake ….don’t do that
For heaven’s sake….don’t do that
For heaven’s sake ….don’t do that
For heaven’s sake….don’t do that
Suicides on someone’s mind
Through a cry for help it shined
For heaven’s sake ….don’t do that
For heaven’s sake….don’t do that
