It used to be so easy: we written a long time ago: bluesy ballade, inspired by a night train, that usually takes you home from a long night out...but if he ends the relation it becomes a cold ride through the dark city without love.....all our songs here are only piano and the great vocals.
lyrics
IT USED TO BE SO EASY by roger specker
You tell me, you’re leaving
you say, (that) you gotta go….
And word after word is hurting me so.
Hey baby, you take me, on a bad ride tonight,
I’m losing solid ground, cause you’re saying…. you love me no more.
It used to be so easy, yea….just to walk away and say goodbye.
It used to be so easy, yea…to give a smile away and say goodbye.
You load me on a night train, show me how love has grown cold
and it will be hard to forget, what we had, that we once knew.
Hey baby, you take me, on a bad ride tonight,
I’m losing solid ground, cause you’re saying…. you love me no more.
It used to be so easy, yea….just to walk away and say goodbye.
It used to be so easy, yea…to give a smile away and say goodbye.
You load me on a night train, show me how love has grown cold
and it will be hard to forget, what we had, that what we once knew.
It used to be so easy, yea….just to walk away and say goodbye.
It used to be so easy, yea…to give a smile away and say goodbye. Bye bye baby yeah….
